I still have a diamond rio mp3 player that uses these. They have a compact flash interface but aren't totally CF compatible. It's like the tiniest little gotcha like a disk spin up or ready signal most cf devices don't use or know what to do with.
You can put a CF card in these types of players, but you can't put these drives in most other standard CF devices. |

Pros: I bought the thing just to destroy it and torture it, never even intended to turn it on. It was $3 when I bought it, so heck yes it was worth buying for this purpose ------- Target DPCI checker -------
