Was thinking about posting this too, but hadn't got around to it.

It's a pretty average TV, I knew that getting into it. It was for a relative. Good, not great, not bad picture quality. Solid brand name. I saw it in their e-mail flyer on Monday. Was sold out at the Fairfax, VA location, so I drove 30 miles to the Rockville, MD location that had 5. They still had 4 last time I checked.

Some FYI's are that if you are looking at the ad, it's incorrect. There are only 2 HDMI ports, not 3. Also, the 120hz is an inherent feature of the TV that is apparently set to "low." There is no option to change it from off, low, medium, high. In the latest firmware update, it doesn't add that option either.

I purchased this TV because I needed one soon, and it was the best deal with the best specs in my $450 price range. The only other TVs in this price range were Vizios (or an off brand like Insignia, TCL - that i like, Element, RCA, etc.). I had a Vizio for a few months as my first TV and loved it. But apparently the quality has gone down in the past few years and a lot of their models have something wrong with them.

I.E. one of the models has issues with background sound overpowering voices. There is a 50" Vizio LCD going on sale for $500 at Costco I think tomorrow, but it has issues with freezing and the remote crapping out relatively quickly.

Best Buy will probably price match, but my local store didn't have them in stock. They sell the same model. I'm pretty sure they will price match because it's a local company, but it isn't listed as a store on their new we match online competitors policy.

I picked up one of the last ones in Boston. I got the Disney WOW calibration disc. Its a great tool, but does expose some of the limitations of this TV. It takes tweaking but I've got the settings to how I like them and i'm pleased with the set. Very sleek, good picture, etc.. But the light bleed is kind of bad (i only see it in the tests) and the viewing angles aren't amazing. But for $429, I can live with this. Big upgrade from my old 32" Vizio

Any luck with the price matching? Seems most (but not all) MicroCenters are OOS

This TV is back in stock in a lot of locations. Got 1 for my parents, was looking at the 42lm3500 but they dont need 3d or any other stuff and got this. Had 3 in westchester NY and I got 1, and so did another person at the same time lol
