From the reviews, the drive performance looks great but its reliability is the reason it's hated.

I'm not even worried about reliability as I have had several OCZ drives and only one failure which was replaced with an upgrade. 6 month warranty no thank you. I have 3-5 years on all my SSDs.... No telling how long SSDs last currently.
