Subscribe to WSJ Digital (3 months for $21.99, plus 2 more months free) and get $50 Amazon GC
Update 4/24:
The Wall Street Journal just e-mailed me with subject "Your Gift for Subscribing to The Wall Street Journal" with a $50 GC. I have already applied the GC successfully to my Amazon account.
Meanwhile, http://wsj.com today is offering a $25 Amazon GC for subscribing to both digital & print editions. However, that $25 GC won't be delivered until 150 days after the initial payment. So the $50 GC deal we got in turned out to be a way better deal.
Update 4/23:
I am sorry if you have not received your GC. I am still waiting for mine too. I never heard back after e-mailing TheWallStreetJournal@e.wsjonline.info. The first time support@wsj.com said to wait 180 days. Then asked for screen shots. The third time support@wsj.com said:
Update 3/17:
Two more months for free, thanks ready2mosh and alp44.
http://slickdeals.net/forums/show...tcount=240
Steps:
In Customer Center, your next payment date should show 8/x/2013.
Update 3/9:
The Wall Street Journal just e-mailed me with subject "Thank you for your recent order" that confirms:
I think the date of purchase is 3/7. So if you have not canceled already, you should receive your $50 GC by around 4/21.
(After you Log In, in Customer Center, for WSJ Digital your STATUS should say Active. You paid $21.99 on 3/7. So you have an "active paid subscription".)
If you want to cancel:
I plan to enjoy my subscription for at least the next 3 months (I prefer and use Bing for all my searches, but I had to use google news search to read WSJ articles for free. Now I can skip google news.). If you want to cancel before the end of the 3-month trial period, please see:

If you visit http://wsj.com today, you get a banner. The banner leads to:
https://buy.wsj.com/shopandbuy/or...e=aap7bz1l
It says "Your credit card will be charged $21.99 for the first three months. . . ." At the bottom it says "This is a special offer made available for first time subscribers to The Wall Street Journal Digital Plus. Sales tax may apply."
I wish it says how soon I'd get the $50 Amazon GC. But it seems like a deal to buy a $50 Amazon GC for $22. What do you think?
My own thoughts: CSRs have been all over the place as to when I would receive the GC. But I think the offer is simple: "SUBSCRIBE TO WSJ & get a $50 Amazon.com Gift card." You just need to subscribe to WSJ to fulfill your part of the bargain; nowhere does it say how long you have to subscribe to WSJ for. The fact that you get 3 months when you pay the price of 1 is simply an added bonus. The added bonus is not an additional requirement. Nowhere does it say you have to pay for 3 months of subscription in order to get the Amazon GC.
