In for one. My sons IPOD buds don't really fit his ears so for < $10 can't go wrong.

$12 @ Amazon [amazon.com], so definitely cheaper and a deal, but nobody is saving $21 here.

Skullcandy fix (fall out) $25

Monster Isport (uncomfortable after 2 week test) $60

Sony MDR-AS35 (these are what im wearing now perfect fit... sound quality is below average) $9

Monster N Tunes (good fit, qood quality, they get drenched in sweat probably be returning them) $60

im really looking for some actual headphones not ear buds if anyone can recommend a few...

if these will do the trick ill get these

I think any non-ear buds are going to get sweaty if you are working out, but my first thought would be the SportaPros [amazon.com]. Cheap enough to replace if they get messed up, but decent sound.

Similarly, these [amazon.com] might work, too.

I love them for the gym!

Just ordered these earbuds the other day, im impressed with them for the price (paid $11 on amazon) They have a good sound, good midrange and bass, highs are clear but could be a little better. Compared to my sennheiser cx-200's the sennheisers sound a little better but its pretty close. What I love about the Logitech's though are the comfort. They come with 5 different size ear pieces, the middle ones fit me perfect, form a great seal and have much stronger noise isolation than the sennheisers, I bought them for a plane flight. Don't know how they will hold up yet but have a 2 year warranty. Amazon is great about returns when (not if) earbuds start crackling before warranty is up.

I have these. They have great sound, but are horrible for working out. They are very prone to falling out at the worst times.

I know you said you're more interested in headphones, but my experience lies in earbuds, so I thought I'd comment anyway.

I have tried at least 15 different earbuds that are retail-priced at under $70 or so, and my favorite - by far - is the Sennheiser CX200. They currently go for $17.85 at Amazon.com (source [amazon.com]). My girlfriend and I have used these for the gym (elliptical, treadmill, some forms of weight-lifting), hiking, running, and jogging, and they stay in our ears. The sound quality is excellent, as well.

I was fortunate enough to get three pairs of these for around $6 each recently (source), but if they go down under $15, they're already a great price.

how do these UE hold up against the Sennheisers cx200 ?

my issue with in ear buds is one of my ear canals is bigger then the other and to avoid further issue id like to go in ear buds free...
