Haha, extremely wishful thinking. Considering the TF101 is still selling at $200 long after its release, I seriously doubt they'd sell the TF300 for less than the Nexus 7 at retail given the screen size difference. Until the Tegra 4 Nexus 7 successor (or a budget Tegra 4 TF300 successor) gets pushed out or details leak... why would they have any incentive to lower the price on this?

Once the Nexus 7 goes to $149.99 and $179.99/$199.99, then we'll see a significant drop in the TF300. Until then, I call bullshit on any sub $200 prices.

As for BF 2013, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Nexus as a doorbuster. I doubt it would be less than $100, probably like $120 (if prices drop).

well couple years back when the tegra3 was impending it seemed like the Toshiba tegra2 tablet kept on being discounted like there was no tomorrow.

Actually, this IS a Transformer Pad TF300T. Only Grade 4's now. Although I have had good experience w/ Grade 4's, but I am a risk taker.

I am waiting for the TF700 to hit $300 in the next week -- or I will pick up a Nexus 10 for $400...yeah retail. Nexus devices are worth retail.
