If you are going to Thumbs Down at least have the decency to explain why in a post. I have a deal alert set for this and this isn't a bad price from what I've seen in the past. Lowest I've seen was $70 and it's currently $87.38 on amazon.
I'm not ready to buy just yet and I've never done business with icemonkey so I'm gonna pass but I thumbs up'd anyway because I appreciate you taking the time to post this and it's a decent price. Thank you OP |

hows their return policy ? read it but anyone with physical knowledge with them ? I see some bad reviews on amazon with foscam

can anyone say how they view over an apple iphone or ipad? I see they say no app but you can use safari browser ! I would preferred a dedicated app application for a security monitor
 can you pan and tilt with viewing ? any 3rd party software available for these ? |

I messaged a foscam authorized seller on ebay and asked about a couple of issues I heard and one was that viewing on an ipad wasn't possible and foscam didn't have a fix for it Here's what he said; Actually the issue here is that the Mac Safari is a bit different than the tablet Safari version. So for your iPad you will need to download an App. We suggest that you get either Live Cams Pro or IP Cam Viewer Pro and it will work for you! |

Actually, just to ask does anyone know the GB this thing would use if I wanted it to stream video on-line? Does it stream a full 24/7 or just if I am logged in to an app and viewing it? Little concerned as some made it sound like this uses a ton of GB while the dropcam HD "only" uses about 60GB a month.
Separately does anyone know if you can use a Dropcam camera and not pay for the monitoring? I don't care to record any video just view live feeds. It seems like you can do this but it's not very clear. Last edited by LivninSC; 03-08-2013 at 01:34 PM.. |
