I bought this when there was like 3 lbs for 20 some dollars. I cant get over the taste though. Its absolutely horrible with water. If I add splenda its okay. With milk its okay though.

how does this compare to Whey Gold Standard from ON?

I've always bought ON or Ultra Peptide Whey because those were regarded as the best brands. I am about to run out, so anyone care to educate me in how this compares to the previously mentioned?

Adding milk to Whey defeats the purpose of "fast absorbing" so I dont see the use of it. If you want slow absorb, get cassein, if you want fast absorbing get whey and DONT add milk.

I dont really care for taste, just as long as quality is great and low carbs.

How does adding milk (80% cassein) make the whey absorb slower? By that logic eating anything within 2 hours of your whey, such as fiber or fat, would make they whey not fast absorbing. Going a step further, sugar is the fastest absorbing, so if we drink sugar water with our whey it will make the whey absorb faster.


In other news, this stuff is light on taste, and i use it for cooking all the time since it acts like a great flour substitute for making pancakes and muffins and junk. Some other wheys like dymatize suck for cooking, it just never mixes with ingredients or turns into baking powder and the whole batch of what ever rises like bread in the oven.
