Considering a new one from Staples for $999 minus this weeks $75 coupon for any Wins 8 purchase and taking advantage of the trade in program (minimum $100 off on any working laptop)... I will go with a new one at Staples for a little more.

and the difference is $100 and does not require trading in a laptop.

It's not a bad price but I'd imagine price will drop even further soon, especially since there are over 1500 of them. I got myself a U410 i5 with 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD plus 32GB SSD for $385, it's not unreasonable to think the Yoga will drop to $600-650 in the coming weeks.

I bought one of these last night, and I've spent this morning trying to clarify their return/restock policy on Outlet purchases.

I posted a chat log from a couple of their reps who essentially told me two different things. Of the five reps (yes, five) I've spoken with last night and today, three reps say there is no restocking fee if returned within 21 days of the packing being shipped--even on Outlet purchases--and two reps say that there IS a 15% restocking fee if returned during the 21 days.

Anyway, I decided not to cancel my order, but I'm sort of freaked out by the lack of agreement between their sales reps. I'm a little leery of buying a refurb laptop that I would have to pay around $120 to return if it didn't work out for me.

Looks like there's a 15% coupon [MADNESS] going on, which brings the price down to $636 before taxes.
