I love this tent, Door is amazing! So much space, I love it. Got it lat year at Costco for a bit less. Cant remember but I didn't spend this much
 . Great tent! No complaints. I put a queen size air matress on the left side. Put 2 coolers on outside entrance sides. Perfect for food and drinks. Nothing negative. I love the door so convenient and cool Surprised no tent Nazi's come in and TC this. With the REI links and comparisons to backpacking light weight blah blah blah To hip for the hipsters, I painted mine pink. Now i beat ya

bought this tent last year. it is HUGE!!! love it. was very easy to set up and take down.

These are excellent tents, I've used them for years and the main difference between this and the Ozark Trail is the material quality. The Colemans have very leakproof seams and windows that have held up well in many storms. The double window flaps and even the pole loops have been much more durable on these.
BTW, this is a huge 16 foot wide tent, so don't let the "one room" throw you off. If you want a little bigger and don't mind losing 2" of height for a better ventilation system, http://amzn.to/YFObxI is 10 dollars more and has zip-dividers to split it into three rooms. It's 3x1 feet wider. |

These tents are dandy for families and other summer car campers. Huge and relatively easy to set up. Just make sure you aren't associating Coleman with more credit than it is due in terms of quality/ruggedness. I would not recommend any kind of iffy weather camping in these tents. Spent one of the most miserable nights of my life in a similar tent one Spring in Washington state. These things can and will flood you out in the wrong conditions, and the thin poles will bend right in half in heavy wind, tied down or not.
But if you're just looking for something big enough for the family summer holiday, these things are amazing. You even have room to store all your gear in the tent to keep the racoons out of your food :-P |
