No, these are road shoes. You can always tell by looking at the bottom view. Trail shoes are much more jagged and rough for gripping loose ground. Street shoes are smother. Often, not always, street shoes are white where trail shoes tend to be grey or dark colored.

You must be vouching for walking around occasionally; do you ever leave the house with them on?? No avid runner would ever own a pair of running shoes for 10 years. They are only useful for so many miles.

Here's the scoop, if you plan on running a lot DON'T BUY SHOES YOU'VE NEVER TRIED ON! Stop trying to save $10 at the cost of your ankles, knees, back, and overall running form. You'd likely be happier with a $40 pair of Asics from Kohls that fits well rather than buying a pair online that costs more.... more expensive is not better if they don't fit your foot and form.

indeed. heelstriking is pretty bad for the knees, I developed bad knees myself running like that, switched to shoes with low heel to toe, light weight and now am a forefoot striker. No knee pains running in Saucony Kinvara. Your achilles and arch get a pretty good workout though.
