Exactly!!! That's the problem!! It's something that JUST happened, and it's focuses on problem w/child support which is not flashy and a lot of people don't even want to touch.
It's kinda like how CEOs of major companies and our legislators don't want to talk about how much money they make. Custodial parents get at LEAST 20% (for one child.. more if there are more children involved) of the non-custodial's paycheck. This is almost always WAY more than is needed to raise a child, so why would they blow a whistle on their free shopping sprees?
In the example here, he's paying $1,377 a MONTH for child support! What child needs $1,377 a month of support? Even with day care bills, use of the house/utilities/car/food, clothes, medical bills broken out over time, etc.
And yes, that was a rhetorical question because I've done the math in my own case and it's disgusting how much money is left over for the custodial parent just because they can get away with it.
The story was posted on Feb. 22. (two weeks ago) If it had been a legitimate news article, actual news agencies would have picked it up by now.
"Happiness and depression are both feelings, just like joy and anger. It's not feelings that give us problems. It's what we do with them that makes the difference."
"When I was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down happy. They told me I didn't understand the assignment and I told them they didn't understand life."
Yeah, it's because people are becoming increasingly lazy and want a lot of money for doing nothing.
It's why so many people sue over the dumbest of things. Make a quick buck so they can buy a nice HDTV and sit on their fat-asses all day long watching TV.
Barack Obama - Not my President. Your administration has called a soldier charged with desertion as having served with "honor and distinction". Many lives were lost and veterans were permanently disabled looking for a soldier who left under his own accord.
In Colorado if you are on the birth certificate as the dad then you are. DNA tests don't make you not the dad, now that said if i was ever supposed to be the dad of any child if I was not 100% sure I would request a DNA test before anything.
This story is probably fake as has been said but that does not mean that a person who is not the actual father of a child has never been ordered to pay child support.
The laws need to be brought up to current technology and a DNA test to me should be required for the father. Most of the time they just ask the mother who the dad is to put his name down he does not even have to be there or provide ID to show his real name.
