Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 (3-Users) Free after $45 MIR with free shipping

Never had a issue with their rebates but 2013 is garbage and went back to 2012 version.

What's the difference between this and Kaspersky Pure 2.0. My Pure expires in a week, so should I wait for a (possible) similar deal on Pure or get KIS?

They do take awhile but I have been using Kaspersky for the past 5 years and have paid exactly $0. Even though they take awhile they have never stiffed me on a rebate.

I'm in the exact same boat as you but I went ahead and ordered it. The Pure just gives you additional functions such as automatic backups, control of multiple PCs on your home network, etc. Generally speaking it doesn't give you any better protection from malicious software and if you're like me where you just install it, let it do its thing, and never touch it again....then you'll be fine with this. I've never used any of the fancy features the Pure version comes loaded with.

Been using Kaspersky for 3-4yrs now. No complaints at all. I always get a key cheap off ebay, never have done the rebat deal with them. I just got pure 2.0 on ebay for like $20

My personal experience with Kaspersky rebates is that I NEVER receive any checks from them UNTIL AFTER I call them to complain that I still haven't received anything. They ALWAYS apologize stating that the check should have already arrived and that they will issue another one. I could see this happening a couple of times, but EVERY SINGLE TIME??? C'mon now. They are obviously in the business of holding out on rebates because they know most people either forget or are too lazy to follow through. I still use them, but I now know to ALWAYS expect this kind of hassle/fraud.

Bottom line - make and keep copies of EVERYTHING - including the rebate instructions. I say that because there was ONE occasion where they argued that I didn't send in a particular piece which they SWORE was required. Oh, really??? I had the original instructions that stated that particular piece wasn't in fact needed. They apologized and backed off, but I would have been screwed if I hadn't made that copy.

I have a very strong feeling that I'm not alone in this. Specially when considering today's economy and companies trying to cut costs.

It usually takes them 6-7 months to send rebates.

Not sure if I should buy this, or wait for a PURE, FAR.

Buy this. Less $ out of pocket and less bulky than Pure if you don't need the extra Pure features anyway (online backup, password manager).

Re: Kaspersky Rebates – I've always received the Kaspersky Rebates bought through Newegg.
Kaspersky has been my favorite Internet security program and I share rebate software with family and
friends when it's good.

But the Internet Security offer 11/19/2012 offer #44152 and the Kaspersky Pure
offer 11/5/2012 Offer #44150 still haven't returned I checked them out online today at
www.kaspersky.rebateaccess.com and got the Message on both that my submission has been processed
and your response has been mailed. You should receive it by March 22, 2013 if you don't receive it by
this date please contact us at 1-800-953-3098. Four and a half months is to long to wait for a return!

I might pass on the current offer but it does look good. Undecided and TimeWarped not getting any younger Kaspersky!

Kaspersky is the same as Norton, they will eat all rebates. Watch out legalized criminals.

FWIW, I've received every Norton rebate I've submitted. Even when I forgot to put the correct item (I put a bar code that was from the Norton box but WASN'T the UPC). I contacted them via chat and they manually approved it.

I'm aware of the recent "audit" situation, but even as somebody who does upwards of five to 10 Norton rebates per year, I've never had an issue.
