I have the non-backlit version, G1N, that I got from ErgoGeek's ebay store for $64 and I am happy with it. The G1NL has 2 major difference (other than been back-lit): it comes with the wrist pad and it has the built-in USB hub. The wrist pad that is actually quite necessary due to the keyboard been pretty thick.

I believe the G710+ has the edge here.
It has the O-rings that dampen the tactile noise, and a pretty good design overall.
However, if you don't like small keys, you would probably want a DAS.
