I got one with that deal and it is a good quality set. I would not purchase if it is $140 (or even $126) though.

Just wondering, but has the grey coating on the outside been coming off of yours?

At first I was kind of ticked off, but then I shrugged, my kitchen is no showpiece, and for $75, if the inside stays non-stick I don't care all that much if the outside ends up looking just "aluminumy".

I didn't mistreat them, but I figure maybe they didn't like the Cascade dishwasher packets.

As for the non-tick part, I got side tracked with a phone call and burnt some mac & cheese in one. Scrubbed it out. Pot is still non-stick. I'm happy

Even it said dish washer safe, it is better to use mild detergent to hand wash it. Most dishwasher detergent are too tough on coatings. I only have scratches on mine. My previous Analon set actually has little scratch on it even after 9 years. The Kenmore set is thinner than the Analon too. Nevertheless, the Kenmore set uses a newer non-stick coating which should perform better than my old set.
