Champ's Sports has all of their Nike Dri-Fit socks 2 3 packs for $19.99 shipped. This is similar to the East Bay deal from a few weeks ago but this deal includes all the types, men's and women's. Also includes XL sized for big foot folks like melaugh out loud

http://www.champssports.com/XYPro...u:4217101/

These Nike socks features half cushioned, medium-density padding to provide impact absorption. Dri-FIT® fabric wicks away moisture to help keep feet dry and cool. Arch support offers a snug and secure fit. Anatomical left and right adds superior fit and cushioning. 53% polyester/23% nylon/22% cotton/2% spandex. Imported. Sizing: M fits men’s shoe size 6-8, women’s shoe size 6-10. L fits men’s shoe size 8-12, women’s shoe size 10-13. XL fits men’s shoe size 12-15.

Why is this such a deal worth FP?

This same exact 6-pack socks from Macy's is $20 every day, plus you can use any coupon that Macy's usually has (e.g. 15% or 20% typically) to make it even cheaper.

I actually got this 6-pack from Macy's for $12 ($15 on sale - 20% coupon) a few months ago.

If they are the same, awesome deal. For me, it's the XL availability as well as all the styles being included. Lots of these places don't carry Nike socks for big foots like me (Kohls, Macy's, etc.).

I buy the "no show" versions of these socks and LOVE them. However, my last order from Kohl's had some from Mexico and some from Indonesia (Same SKU). The Mexico version materials were what the OP stated for these socks. However, the Indonesia version has a much higher percentage of cotton... Enough so that the sock felt different. I ended up exchanging them in the store for more of the Mexico made version. Just a head's up.

Has nike socks gone down hill over the years? I remember buying the six pack regular cotton nike no shows years ago and they lasted me a long time. Last year I bought another six pack of the regular cotton ones and they felt inferior. What I mean by inferior is that the materials were thinner, even though both were large size, the newer ones fit smaller and was less impressed then the old ones.

Tempted to grab the XL no show and see if they fit better then the large ones i got last yeawr.

From nike website: http://store.nike.com/us/en_us/?l...gid-530621

No show socks are imported, but the low-cut and quarter-cuts are Made in USA.

I think the half cushion, dri fit ones are made of better quality than the regular cotton ones. disclaimer: Not sure of this, this is my 1st time buying nike socks.

heartLoL. I like how the thread has been sanitized, with the highly intelligent post insulting TJ Maxx/Ross/Marshall's, along with my angry retort, and whatever other comments ensued removed without a trace.

No warnings, no messages, just sanitizing the thread by removing posts without saying anything.

LoL, gotta love the censorship. And honestly, ultimately all the admins can do is what, ban you? Like one couldn't create another account? Like one couldn't use a proxy to circumvent an IP block? I mean really...

Instead of letting people go back and forth and prove their points, let's censor and clean up the thread! Do it baby!!

Anyway, luckily in the 8 years I've been on this site I've only seen that twice... I have to say that for the most part, I've noticed SlickDeals does let people go back and forth (even with with mild insults), allowing the opinion of the majority to prevail!! I like that!! It makes SlickDeals more realistic, instead of making it feel like we're in grade school, where everyone's feelings have to be respected and everyone is a winner and everyone deserves all the respect in the world... Because they truth is that not everyone deserves respect. Sometimes people, for no reason, demean and belittle others who make perfectly good points and contributions. And then others retort, and put them in their place.

Oh and since my previous post was deleted, I will repeat: THANKS OP :-), nice deal, I bought the socks, repped!! heart

HEY!! Thanks for pointing that out!! Good observation!! I always check the country of origin, and the majority of Nike socks that I come across in Ross and Marshall's are made in the USA (surprisingly). While the Timberland, Puma, and other socks are almost always made in China.

I know not everyone cares or bothers to look at country of origin, but thanks for helping those out who do :-) worship

With respect - disagree.

Cushioning in footwear and socks is not just for the foot, but also the rest of the body. Its more unnatural for the human body to run long distances over extended periods of time. Naturally we were meant to run to avoid danger and catch prey.

These types of technologies help protect bones and joints against premature wear and tear.
You might want to check out a book called Born to Run. If you run barefoot / close to barefoot using the proper technique, there should be minimal to no impact on your bones and joints. While the cushioning may help a runner who uses improper technique to minimize the impact, it is optimal for long distance runners to use the natural (barefoot) technique.

The author also heavily disputes the idea that humans were only meant to run short distances. In fact, humans are unique in that they are among the few species who are intended to run for long distances.

(and anyone who authors a book is correct by default)

The ones on Macy's are not the 1/2 cushion with anatomical left and right socks for the perfect contour. There is an "L" and "R" to distinguish which foot on each pair. I've been using the Nike Dri-Fit, 1/2 cushion, no show socks for a couple years now. They are hands down the best socks I've worn and owned in my nearly 30 years of existence.

With that said, in for two!
