I will say this... that is one of the most stylish looking projectors I've seen. Sounds like a good unit, but my $399 720p unit lives on, so I'll continue to delay for the time being... Looking forward to 1080p though, but 720p is fine, even on our 106" screen.

Maybe I'll get lucky and one of RED's 4K laser projectors will "fall off a truck" near me so I can grab one for under $2,000.

It's just easier on the eyes, and makes games more immersive. It's amazing how much of the video frame is wasted with normal television programming. Watching sports and having a 50" view of the subject, with the rest of the screen showing stats and other non-essential data is nice once you get used to it. |
