ShopDiscover and Groupon Help!

I seem to have some sort of issue with Groupon. No matter what browser I use, the cashback NEVER posts. This happens ONLY with Groupon.So, every 3-4 months, I have to call in about all the Groupon purchases made in that period. It's a huge PITA, and I have to provide order numbers and other info, and then they manually credit my account.
They tell me each time that no cashback is offered for Goods or Getaways or Epic deals BUT none of my purchases are any of those...just regular deals. So who knows?


I have heard of people receiving cashback without using their Discover card, but never heard of anyone receiving cashback for goods or getaways.

my reply is not very relevant to OP's post but relevant to J129's reply. I sometimes do have issues with shopdiscover cashback as well and now discover has a online redressal method where you can enter your details and they email within 24 hours with their response. got some cashback instated through this method last month after getting tired of calling them about the issues.. Go to message center --> compose messages --> category - rewards --> shopdiscover and so on. hope this helps J129 next time.

The fact that they are setting up a more organized method of submitting complaints tells me that they 'may' not provide cashback for purchases which are explicitly excluded from the shopdiscover cashback in the fineprint. So very YMMV on getting the groupon getaways cashback.

Thanks for that. Seemed to have missed your reply, which is why it took me so long to reply.
It's gotten so bad with Groupon, that now, every quarter that I call, Discover launches a full-fledged investigation. They have me email screenshots, order numbers and take about 20-30 days to finish but always get me my cashback.
They wonder why my Groupon purchases don't post and always promise me that they're looking into it...9 months later, still the same.
