The Newegg reviews are close to worthless. Have you even read them? There's only a few complaints and most of them are dumb.

This TV was a front page deal at $799, so this is a great price.

Yes I read them, it's why I mentioned the bad reviews. Maybe Newegg has a bad batch? The poor reviews there look legit.

What would be the process of getting Amazon to price match this? Would a screenshot help, does the Amazon rep have to go to Newegg to see the price first, or do you have to purchase it from Amazon first and then ask for the price match? I've heard conflicting stories.Still cheaper from Newegg since Amazon charges tax in many states now.

A bad batch? lol. There's a couple complaints about the internet features that nobody ever uses, somebody complaining about their aftermarket mount not working, and somebody complaining about input lag (which was clearly user error because he didn't even mention game mode). If you want reviews with actual substance check Amazon. Newegg has 9 reviews total, and they all sound like they were written by 6 year olds. Amazon has 413 reviews, many of which are extremely detailed and insightful.

Amazon has a lot of complaints as well, but of course you will have that. Some I'm sure are warranted and some may be nitpicking, but still you see lots of "if you get a good one." I wish Newegg had the return policy that Amazon has... hate to take a risk.

I challenge you to find any tech product that has more than 300 reviews that doesn't have some complaints. You have to look at the percentages of 5 stars vs 1 stars. Taking all review sources into account this is one of the highest rated TVs you can buy. But I can understand the desire to have an easy return just in case.

Buy it and let us know what you think of it. Yes return policy is a factor for me.

I guess Best Buy will match Newegg. Not a fan of Best Buy though, but the return policy factor is there.
