Known Issues (and Fixes) - created by jnads
Touchpad not disabling when switching to tablet mode: Re-install the Synaptics driver from the Lenovo website. This is special functionality specifically for this laptop (the driver on the Lenovo site is CUSTOM) and Windows update tends to replace the driver (screwing everything up). I believe you only have to do this once, unless another driver comes out. Alternatively, follow the guide above to install the old driver with the new functionality.

Software keyboard appears, then disappears: Go into Metro and open the Lenovo Companion App. Click the Apps for Ideapad box. Re-install Lenovo Transition. When your device changes states, it will intelligently open the software keyboard as necessary.

Tabet Mode is slow:
-Lenovo under-clocks the processor to 800Mhz in Tablet Mode to keep the heat low. If you don't want this, do one of the following:
-Uninstall Intel Thermal Framework in Remove Programs. Removing this will prevent it from doing that. I haven't done this, so I don't know if it's recommended. I did do the following:
-Alternatively, Hold POWER Down for 10 seconds to COMPLETELY turn off the computer. Start it up and hit F2 to Enter BIOS, switch to 2nd page, disable DPTF, save and exit. I haven't done any benchmarking to verify this works. <--DOES NOT WORK.

C Drive isn't showing all my space:
Lenovo partitions the SSD funky. A 128GB SSD is technically 119GB Usable space. They save 19 GB for a re-install partition (so you can use Lenovo OneKey to wipe the laptop). D drive is a partition to make user-backups (Ghost Images), which is a giant waste.
-Run the partition app up top, which will combine C and D drives. You should get 100GB. I wouldn't re-format the entire drive, because there are still some apps bundled with the laptop that are not on the Lenovo site. There aren't any guides yet for completely reinstalling windows with this laptop.

Fan is loud
There can be two issues:
1. Fan could be broken (bearing loud). This would be a grinding sound.
2. Fan could be rubbing on the metal housing inside the case (tick, tick, tick, tick sound.... somewhat common). You could RMA it, or open up the laptop and bend the housing to fix it yourself.
3. Fan spins up too loud too frequently.

Fan Fix for #3 ("fix" doesn't really work for most people, just slows the fan down. Still loud. Lenovo says they'll fix it in the next firmware update)

Any known solution for a missing mouse cursor? You're driver was most likely updated by either MS in one of its updates, or you upgraded beyond the one offered by Lenovo. Check that your Synaptics version ends with *.3. First, uninstall, the driver from the Device Manager, then reboot. Then, install the Lenovo *.3 version. Also, make sure you had not pressed F6 by accident, as that disables your touchpad.
