if you are considering this garbage, make a screen shot before and after adding to cart saying "Scratch and Dent", they send you Refurbished with dead pixels. Pay with Paypal and if something goes wrong you can file claim with proof and get your money back full.

Last two scratch n dents I got from Lenovo had a single inch-long scratch on the lid. Never had a screen or hardware issue.

But if this has that damnable Elan touchpad, avoid, avoid, avoid.

Check Cowboom for Lenovo Thinkpads, they seem to have better prices than the Lenovo outlet, I picked up one this week for around $200 that was Model E430 i3 2nd Gen 4GB DDR3 and 320GB 5400RPM. It was used but I swear to you the outside was brand spanking new, not a smudge scratch or nick.

Oh and the touchpad isn't that bad. I have a small wireless mouse I planned to use it thinking it would be unbearable but it's fine either way. It's actually much better than my old Asus netbook.

It does come with a year warranty so I would hope that if the computer comes with dead pixels, I'll be throwing it back to them.

These are definitely built VERY well for a budget laptop, not very laggy at all, keyboard and screen are super nice. Have one! Screen is seriously super bright and crisp.

These are built pretty decent for the "entry" consumer class. QFT

I've had hardware issues with probably 1 in 5 from lenovo outlet, and you do have to pay for one way shipping most of the time, but still worth it 95% of the time. Too bad I need a desktop, not a laptop right now!
