Lenovo IdeaPad N580 Laptop: Intel Pentium B960 (2.2GHz),15.6" LED, 4GB DDR3, 320GB HDD, 6-Cell, Win 8 (Scratch & Dent) $208.84, G580 $212.71 + FS

Just purchased the lenovo n585 for $210 shipped with tax. Needed something basic that I am not worried about beating up. (have a netbook but I am starting to loath it due to large hands.) Have a spare SSD I am going to throw in which should speed things up.

But I might be moving to a new city soon and will probably be living out of a duffel bag for a couple weeks until I can find a new apartment. Desktop will need to stay behind for the time being.

Received mine today and it was changed to refurb. Looks perfect. Must say, Windows 8 a little different but seems to be running very fast and snappy. Of course I am coming from an Acer one 722 netbook which is extremely slow and laggy. The keyboard and screen are very nice. Already have my program menu shortcuts set up.

Got mine today, it was a scratch and dent refurb. A few light scuffs on the bottom. But overall I am very happy, especially for what I paid for it. Wish I would have ordered the one with Windows 7 however, Windows 8 is... different.

got mine otday, scratchless, but sticker at bottom says refurb. + no win 8 COA key sticker. Googling shows that MS is moving to COA less activations. What about ohters. did you get a CoA key?

Received yesterday. Can't see anything that would indicate it's a refurb, other than the sticker on the bottom. Seems perfect. Very happy with the purchase. Scores a 6.1 for processor on Win 8 performance test. Graphics 4.4, which is not great, but no problem for normal tasks. Gaming graphics scored 5.1. Screen is glossy, but sharp and very bright. No trackpoint, but large pad. Power supply is tiny and good for travel compared to the huge brick that powers my Thinkpad W520. I'll add memory. Wish I could get another at this price

got my n580 and it looks great !

However i don't see an HDMI AUDIO output option when connecting to my TV via HDMI cable . I have tried different things, even downloaded the latest windows 8 64 bit audio drivers but that did not resolve this issue.

Can someone help ? thanks.
