Thx, i figured it out too so I'll have to setup another acct.
I'm running it on ATI Radeon 6950 2GB version and it runs everything on max with no slow-downs in 2560x1440 @ at least 60fps No graphical corruptions either unlike Dirt3. Not sure about Eyefinity though.
You need to start another GMG account with another email address and form of payment.
Anyone know if there's performance issues with this on AMD hardware like there was with the last one?
Is this something that an 8-1/2 year old would be able to handle, or is it too advanced for this age? My nephew likes to play Midtown Madness - Chicago, an old racing game I had lying around on my PC, using the original wired Rumblepad, when he visits, so I know that he likes and can handle racing simulations, but I'm not sure if this would be easy enough for him.
Also, can you plug in a second or third controller for multiplayer play on the same PC?
And can it be installed on several home PCs and networked on a home network (not over the internet) to play on multiple PCs without having to buy multiple copies or licenses?
Oh, yeah, my PC's pretty old, with an original Core 2 Duo 6300 running at 1.83Ghz, 4GB RAM, a non-SSD 7200rpm HD, and a Gigabyte 6670 1GB video card. Can it handle this game?
Thank you so very much for the heads up! I have been wanting this game since it came out but for some reason I kept telling myself I would get it when it was sub $30. At $15 I would have jumped on it but at $12 it was one heck of a deal! Now if only they would lower the price of the DLC...
Steam shows full controller support and local coop (multiplayer play on the same PC).
No, steam only allows an account to be running on one computer at a time. You could go into offline mode for each computer for simultaneous play, but multiplayer and saving will not work.
According to the minimum system requirements from steam, you need a 2Ghz core 2 duo. Yours doesn't seem to quite make the cut.
Thanks. This CPU is actually very overclockable, something I've never gotten around to doing, but IIRC it can go up to nearly 3Ghz, if not higher. I was more concerned about the video card. Can it handle this game?
Also, can most 8 year olds play this game w/o getting frustrated, at least at easier levels?
