What's the highest squaretrade discounts ever go, 40% ?

It kills me I bought something for $100 when $99 would have been far cheaper warranty.

I used 1GLN32ZO01F. There is a sequence where the last two letters change, so i just continued the pattern with letters O and F.

When buying a square trade warranty, do you enter the pre tax purchase price?

Do they replace your item with the same thing or give you money to buy the technological equivalent of what is out when (if) your item breaks?

If the item is not repairable they will refund the purchase price of the item, not the value of the item. IF you got the item on sale you will only get back what you paid for it. IF they have done a repair and there is a 2nd issue and at that point they can't repair it they will issue you the remainder of the purchase price left. They will make repairs = to the cost of the laptop.

Example: Laptop purchased for $350 + tax
- You will get $350 worth of repairs...
- repair 1: cost $250
- repair 2: determined non-repairable, or > than $100; they will give you a check for $100
