I tried the nearest store that had them in stock, but each was still labeled at full price.
Has anyone else duplicated this? |

The Lewisville Sam's Club is actually my Sam's Club, but I didn't see this deal until the end of March. The price in-store was 289.99 when I went and the manager wouldn't budge on that... even with a picture of the receipt.
They only had three left in stock, so I decided to just keep checking back online to see when it went on sale again. It must have gone on sale yesterday while I was busy because now it says, "Only Sold Online" and all the stores in the surrounding area were out, but the online price had been jacked up to some INSANE amount ($60,874.80!!). Looks like the price has been fixed as of today. Last edited by Draykus; 04-11-2013 at 06:42 AM.. |

This is way beyond Target YMMV since you do not need a pass to be a regular shopper there. Plus there are way more targets than Sams Clubs.

Found out today that Sam's will do a return and re-buy of an online order in-store if the item is listed at a lower price locally - transaction MUST be done in store though, Sam's WILL NOT price match any other Sam's. Did this with the Vita bundle, no issues at all.

pretty much order the quantity we want online for full price, and take them all into store for return and rebuy.
But this only works if the price on the sams site states that our store has it in-store for $75.xx? Maybe I should screen shot it and bring it in?? repped you for your help |

I was in my local Sam's a week ago and noticed they had the first edition bundle purchase card in the game row, I went to check out, but they didn't have any stock. I checked online and saw that it was in stock. I received the bundle yesterday, and took it into Sam's this afternoon. I explained that I was in store a week ago and wanted to purchase it because it was "on sale", but they didn't have any stock. I showed the lady my receipt and said it was in stock online, but not "on sale" and asked if I could return it and re-buy it to get the "sale" price. She checked the price in store and commented that it was much less in store. She returned the unit using the original receipt and resold it to me using the local price. I didn't know if they would do it, but took a shot and they did it without question. I would assume you could do it anytime within the time frame of their return policy. No idea if this is their official policy, but worst case you are out $5 for shipping if they refuse and you just outright return it (though at that point it's back "in stock" so you could in theory re purchase it off the shelf assuming an employee does't snag it first).
Also, no idea why, but I wasn't charged the CA screen recycling fee |
