since no one has actually compared the two And I would not consider hearsay on AVS forum credible The only thing I have seen is the short verbiage in this months Sound and Vision that say they could see a difference in this years VT50 and the new ZT60 The question is...actual transaction prices will be about $1500 in the left over VT vs the new ZT...as I said before ..IMO..a $1500 upgrade in sound is worth more than a slighter better television in a home theater experience There is also an article in there about the fact that OLED will be better than either LED or Plasma technology...as a possible 4K blu ray format They also say..." Samsung states their new F series plasma will be twice as bright as the E...along with a highly enhanced apps/interactive/smart feature set" |

Also, notice how Panasonic's website has vastly different specifications when you go to the ST60 and the GT50? It's as if they are intentionally trying to prevent a direct comparison between the two models by listing different specs. |

It has been said over and over on AVS and other forums that this is a marketing gimmick pro calibrators see no difference in picture. |

nuff said ... there is nothing confusing about this.. The ST60 will have a better AG Filter, possibly 96hz option from the VT line. And better processing and home screen No one uses THX mode its another gimmick ,.... custom mode is the only mode you will ever use once you calibrate it and get the settings from pro calibrators. The GT50 has a extra HDMI and THX and slightly better screen on the outside that could be more visually pleasing . |

![]() ![]() http://www.whathifi.com/news/pana...-tv-series http://www.whathifi.com/news/pana...-tv-series The gt60 has a slight edge over the u.s. version of the st60 but that's it. The st60 in the usa is a better set here and will be better then the gt50 here that was made in 2012. Last edited by CSIG1001; 03-20-2013 at 06:10 AM.. |

THeir msrp's & initial street prices will be lower than the previous lineup's, but everyone please be sure to only get your pricing info from these dealsites, not technical info (& especially not forecasting of professional reviews). I mean two plus pages of car analogies?! lol
What are you doing?! |

better get the product fast this is one of several new releases I read because of their poor financial performance and says being far below expectations Perhaps another bites the dust soon? http://articles.economictimes.ind...sonic-s-tv |

which no doubt plays a part in many purchases the other element is not getting caught up in marketing hype for a product you dont own and taking the "fan boy" chatter on AVS forum as the gospel I have been on AVS forum for years and there is some good information...but a lot of opinion and hype as well Each should use their own eyes on the actual product and then form an opinion
