Very nice keyboard, this matches the cheapest price I've ever seen it for. Mechanical, but with quiet switches (MX brown) that come with rubber dampers. It is hardly any noisier than many membrane keyboards. Has a built-in USB port for headsets or mouse dongles.

Some have had issues with the adjustable backlighting, though the suspected issue is not in the keyboard, but inadequate power on some USB ports on some computers.

Overall, highly recommended.

It was on sale for the same price about a month ago. I've heard great things about it (and mechanical keyboards in general), but the price will drop slowly. I think all the enthusiasts already picked it up and there hopefully isn't a need for another one!

Not that great of a deal... but, if you needed a keyboard this fills the void very nicely! You will enjoy it..

No, according to camel camel camel, it shot back up to $145 last week - and until the middle of February, it had never been below the $130 to $140 range at either Amazon or Newegg.

This has a $149 MSRP and has never been below $99 to my knowledge. I don't really see it getting much if any cheaper any time soon. If anything, it will go back up.

Highlight: 6 programmable G-key. Decent keyboard but I dont see any deal here. Been selling at that price for ages.

Only if "ages" is two and a half weeks. Before that, it was never below the $130 to $140 range. Also keep in mind that the price went back up at Amazon last week and is still much higher at Newegg and other retailers.

Regarding the macro keys. It has 3 modifiers, so 18 programmable keys total. And the included software will automatically change macro profiles to match whichever game or software program you're running.

Yeah it was 99.99 like feb 16, went up for a day or two and then went back down, but otherwise has been at 99.99

But prior to then had been in the $130 to $140 range, and had (to my knowledge) never, ever been lower. It's still at those higher prices at every vendor except Amazon, so this isn't the new MSRP

Point being, it hasn't been $99 for "ages", and I wouldn't really expect it to go any lower any time soon. Since only one vendor has it at this price, if anything, it will probably go higher.

I got this keyboard shortly after it was released. I knew I wanted MX Browns, white backlighting, and I was going to add in the o-ring dampeners anyway, so this keyboard fit the bill perfectly. Also, try finding another mechanical keyboard that has dedicated media control buttons.

I paid $130 for it. Knew it wasn't a good price but my old keyboard died and I needed one. I've seen it at $99 a few times over the past month. Definitely is a good deal if you're in the market for a mechanical keyboard with media controls and backlighting.

If you don't really care about the backlighting or macros or media controls, I recommend checking out Coolermaster's line of mechanical keyboards. A lot of time you can get the for ~$70 after MIR from Newegg and they're supposed to be incredibly solid.

This keyboard having two USB plugs on the end (one for keyboard, the other for passthrough port on the keyboard) seemed weird and first but I've gotten used to it. You'll never run into problems with, "This USB port doesn't have enough power to power this device!" when using the USB port on this keyboard, and that's pretty handy. I regularly use this port to charge my cellphone.

Hope this helps a few people make up their mind. This keyboard may be a little pricey compared to other brands, but it is loaded with features which make up for it. At $99 I definitely recommend it.

I wouldn't wait on the price to drop that much. Mechanical keyboards have a history of sustaining their price tags. At least for high quality keyboards, you will rarely see any sales on them. The cheaper brands will have sales (Rosewill, Cooler Master, etc), but since this is Logitech's first dip into the mechanical keyboard world, it remains yet to be seen. Don't expect it to fall much, if at all, in the near future.

I would also expect the price of this keyboard to hold.
You might see it go on sale for ~$80 or so once in a blue moon.

Since the rosewill variety sells for ~$65 when on sale and thats a cheaper brand, I would never expect it to go down to that mark.
For what it's worth, I think I would prefer the rosewill verity.
