$1.99 each "Chronicles of Narnia" Books on Kindle, Whispersync editions for $4.99

Today (3/10) Amazon has all of the Chronicles of Narnia for $1.99 each on the Kindle:

I saw this in my email this morning, and immediately purchased them. I've been tempted to read them for ages, but never got around to buying them before. This is a good price to me.

I have seen the print books this cheap, but ebooks are more convenient.

Wish they were available as a bundle.

Been reading these to my son. Pained me every time I paid 6 bucks. Was able to buy the last three for 1.99 each. Thanks op!

Btw. Always read these in the original published order. Publisher really screwed up the order.

3. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (1952)
4. The Silver Chair (1953)
5. The Horse and His Boy (1954)
6. The Magicians Nephew(1955)
7. The Last Battle (1956)

Lewis makes references in the books that make this the best order, imho.

Yeah I was confused by the description for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Thanks for clearing that up!

When I started reading them again, it was very confusing. I guess there is a story about a correspondence between a boy and Lewis about switching the order to chronological. Lewis said in a letter to the boy that it was a good idea. So the publisher took it on itself to change the order. Honestly, I think Lewis was just being nice to the boy. Changing the order of the books was a terrible idea.
