I bought one last fall for couponing. I go through reams and reams of paper and love that this one holds a lot of paper. I was able to print through 4 reams of paper on just the sample/shipping toner that came with the machine. The toner is very economical and the machine is not fussy about non-OEM cartridges. The print quality is superb.

Don't forget to get a usb cable.

What type of non-OEM cartridge do you use? I'm just about empty on the original one on mine and will probably need to replace it in a couple months.

I coupon as well, and I've been having a hell of a time with the HP inkjets I've been buying. Ink is expensive, so I refill cartridges and am currently trying to get a new continuous ink system (CIS) working, to no avail. These printers really act up when you use non-OEM ink, too. I regularly lose coupons due to jamming, missing ink, etc. Tired of fussing with my printer. I told myself that my next printer would be a laser.

I don't know much about laser printers though. How much do non OEM cartridges cost, and as a fellow couponer, how long do you generally go (in terms of pages or time, whichever you know offhand) before needing to replace toner? Do you miss features like copying / scanning, or do you use another printer for that?

There was a thread posted today for a low cost replacement toner cartridge for this printer. I don't know about the quality, but the price is right!

Unfortunately, this has no wireless networking or duplex. You can find a laser printer with both on occasion at this price. At the very least, it should definitely have one of the two features to be considered a warm deal.
