Joss Whedon's TV Shows in Amazon's Deal of the Week

Dialogue can be cheesy and cliched at times, but definitely overall good stories and the plot will suck you in. Worth watching if you have Netflix.

Second, the person that wrote that is a joke. He summarized Whedon's comments, and how do I know if he actually interpreted them correctly? Did he ask for clarification? Or more details? Then he rambles on about some other shit for another paragraph. No video clip, no transcript, nadda. *yawn* Whatever.

I read his anti-capitalist rant while he was soaking up millions of dollars, doing the very thing he's against. He is one of those 'enormously rich people' he's talking against. The only part I agreed with was that it's not longer a Republican vs Democrat, Liberal vs Conservative thing since both parties are essentially the same.

When I was 15 i would watch any scifi that came on tv, but after watching Star Trek TNG, DS9, Star Wars, and others, the bar has risen up.

Never combine western with scifi. Westerns does not belong in scifi(star trek enterprise theme). Its a cheap way to make a scifi and it shows.(There are exceptions that squeezed by(BacktoFutre3, Wild,wild west(original))). Firefly captain was an ass. In Serenity, the whole 12 episodes leads to the answer, that the retard girl is actually Bourne Identity, wow original.

Both parties are not the same. And why would i watch a show called "Angel" especially on WB. I might as well watch a show called "Beefcake" or something in that genre.

It sounds more like he's saying all previous systems haven't worked... this sounds more like a critique of government as it has manifested so far than a blatantly anti-capitalist tirade.

Apparently people expect those who think there are problems with current economic and political systems to abandon them altogether, giving up all wealth and forgoing all the benefits of said systems... because people respect the views of hobos.



If my car is running badly I look for ways to fix it while using it... I don't abandon it and walk home.

I'm not a Whedon fan. I never caught onto Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In fact, I probably purposely avoided it because Sarah Michelle Gellar was on it.

But, I did get Firefly because of the many folks on SD who said it was good. It was a good purchase. It's good entertainment. So, that's my piece on this.

I then later got Serenity too, and did not regret purchasing that either.
