Joss Whedon's TV Shows in Amazon's Deal of the Week

I got this last time and have watched all. Totally worth the $20 or so. Some minimal re-watch, but still glad I got it.

I never knew much about the show when on. Too bad they did drop it. They really were setting up some nice story lines, and character development. I have to admit to wanting to see more have watching them.

BD image quality is OK but not great. Better than DVD for sure.

Worth it and recommended, but be prepared to be disappointed there are more episodes to watch.

Love this show. I never tire of watching it over and over again. Why it was cancelled is beyond me Buy if it you haven't already.

The 'Browncoats'(aka Firefly fans) showed Fox about the power of a few and enough interest was gathered to make the 'Serenity' movie. JW's next stop?: 'The Avengers'. That movie made a decent amount!

Is ANGEL worth the money? I used to watch BUFFY, but did not get into ANGEL during its airing.

Interesting this came up now, we just started streaming Firelfy from netflix and are 5 episodes in at this point.

So it's just those 14 episodes right, that was it?
And on the last episode (without giving away any spoilers) do they mostly wrap up the story lines or do they leave you hanging?

Totally left hanging, but watch the movie, that, uh, wraps up some of them.

Best series I have ever seen... still angry someone hasn't been able to pick it up...

I am sure someone would pick it up, but Joss has said flat out that he is done with the series.

not sure if I want Nathan Fillion to leave Castle or Gina Torres to leave Suits... but Firefly was really good. Worth the 18 bucks.....

According to one of Whedon's rants not too long ago, the "browncoats" were the bad guys and the government was the good guys. It's amazing what happens to people when they make it big.

Everyone see the reunion at ComicCon.Awesome!!! I'm not a huge scifi person but I so would have gone if I knew. BTW,A Firefly board game is coming out! Just google it. Anyone check out the series comic book form??

That's pretty much what I figured, thanks.

I didn't think I would like the Angel series when it came out but for the most part,I really enjoyed.Lots of crossover with the Buffy series too. I'd say it's worth it to buy it.
