Gandhi (Blu-ray) $10

Most of the cast in this Movie is Indian. The movie was partly funded and sponsored by the Govt. of India and filmed in India. It was in the works for a long time and finally Mr. Attenborough managed to bring all of it together. Also note Sir Kingsley is half-Indian ( at least Ethnically ) and his real name is Krishna Pandit Bhanji. and Mr. Attenborough has done a wonderful job ( keeping the authenticity of the movie intact ) unlike Mr. Lean's movies like Lawrence of Arabia which tend to be more fictional rather than try and be a true depiction of History.

I personally prefer the British/American Production crew to the Bollywood ones as it results in a movie - better made and a story - better told and a lot of Internationally acclaimed Indian Movie makers have adopted this style of film-making of late.

Gandhi for ten dollars. That's about the price of a buffet. Good Deal.

Ghandi may not be the saint many make him out to be. Sure, he certainly did some amazing things, but here's a Penn & Teller episode that offers a different perspective. Search for the "Holier Than Thou" episode.

Mahatma is one my hero's.. the other is the one and only Sachin Tendulkar!

Just bought this on Mahatma. Now will wait on Sachin!
