Tempted...Still have the gift cards from the Dell deal a few months ago and since it comes with Win 7, would not have to deal with adding a new boot partition with Windows 7 to get around the awful Windows 8. Still really do not need it so I think I will just wait.

I wouldn't upgrade my computer if I already had a gulftown 6 core, or a sandy/ivy bridge quad core; i would just add in an ssd + video card if needed. Or if something older than that was more than sufficient for what I was doing and you don't have any need for it.

Otherwise, this is a very good price for an i7 + 16gb ram + ssd boot drive + 2 tb data drive + mid-tier gpu + 1 year warranty. And you can easily upgrade to a 7850/7870 and flip the 7770 on any of the selling websites.

the only thing better in 6 months is haswell, but it already requires a revision due to usb 3.0 problems (not sure if it is in the chipset or the processor itself).

if you wait 6 months, the new intel chips are coming out this summer.
