A/v receiver question
Hello I am buying a Pioneer receiver with a front USB port. Would any USB wifi adapter work or do I need to purchase specifically the pioneer Wifi adapter recommended with this receiver? Thanks |

Are you sure the USB port is for WiFi? Seems to me it could just as well be for external storage, or ONLY external storage, esp. if it’s a front USB port. If it is for WiFi, and it has an ethernet port too, I’d personally opt for a wireless ethernet bridge instead. Probably cheaper than having to use THEIR wireless adapter, and will provide more options in terms of orientation and placement of the antenna. And if the USB supports both WiFi and external storage, it leaves the USB port available for the latter.
