Of they had it advertised we could've price matched elsewhere. And by the way, why would they make a Wireless keyboard and not include a touchpad so we could use for htpc?

Probably to reduce costs since most people that use BT keyboards don't use them with an HTPC.

This one works well with Android tablets. I got one for a few bucks more several months ago. It is the same as the previous mobile 6000 model.

Yep, noticed when I pair it, it shows up as "Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000".

This is a nationwide deal. Many of the last gen Microsoft peripherals are being discontinued.at OD, despite not following the regular clearance schedule and yellow tag. If you find a tag in store, the sale date will read 3/10/13 - 6/30/13 (i.e. until they are sold out).

FYI, my store had only one black/gray Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 on the shelf and only one older silver/white on display. Not knowing any better I asked for the black/gray for the $9.99 and got it with a manager's "customer sat" over-ride. No guarantee that can be replicated, just FYI something to try.

Picked up two BT keyboards, thanks rkdus & TexasFlood! Tried to get LifeCam 5000 and Cinema 720p but both are still scanned at $22 at my local stores (the $18 LifeCam 6000 is OOS here). Will wait till them drop to $18 or less.

Thanks for the heads up. Picked up the MS BT Keyboard 5000 for $12.99 and MS Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 for $9.99.

There were quite a few MS keyboards and mouse still on significant sale at my store. Was tempted to get more, but I only needed these two.
