I may bite, I wanted a 17" screen but I like this one. Sadly I only want it to play some games on as every other computer I have is a Mac.

It's about the same in terms of hardware performance, and it's not nearly as classy as a sleekbook. I'd say it's "another deal", but not a "better deal". thanks though

Yeah I agree -- for a basic laptop computer with a bit of style it's OK. I don't really think this is front page material but still okay.

EDIT: this is a refurb... pfft how did this get front page? Must be the SD butt-sniffing staff forcing it to front page for a partner.

Definitely a better deal. The AMD processor and graphics are faster than the Intel counterparts in found in this computer. The Hard Drive is bigger, it's new as opposed to refurbished, AND it's $25 cheaper after rebate.

If this were anything besides HP equipment, I'd be all over it.
Good deal if you don't have high demands.
