I'm with you. Nice job. People posting these cellular deals should always include "with 2 year contract" in the title even though this might be obvious for lots of people.
Anyways, looks like a nice deal. I'm looking to upgrade (w/2yr contract extension) my current Note 1 (N7000) because I can feel how laggy it can become even after JelleyBean update. I'm actually waiting for the HTC One coming out later this month. Performance of general UI and camera quality/snappiness is what I'm looking for, which iPhone 4S does really well, but iOS is just too boring.
How did you update to Jelly Bean with Galaxy Note N7000? Mine is currently 4.0.3 which suck and really hate Samsung for their lack of update and cheap part.
You can flash it with Odin from your PC in Windows. I wiped my phone before doing anything.
I tried Note2 in att store, and it was very nice indeed, but seeing the benchmarks for HTC One's Krait quad core (A15 variant), and the camera really swayed me over. Also, my Note 1 has some micro cracks on the cheap plastic[xda-developers.com], so I'd like to stay away from plastic if possible.
I was eligible for an upgrade with ATT and just did this on the grey Note ll and it went through fine. I've been waiting for a price drop on this phone and it just hasn't come, so decided to take a chance on the refurb. I'm a little wary about glitches, but I'm guessing a lot of these were returns in the first 30 days and may have not necessarily had issues. Has anyone ever gotten a refurb at ATT and what was experience? I couldn't find anything with respect to terms of the refurb, if I have the same ability to exchange it within the first 30 days like new phones.
how badly does doing an early termination affect your credit score?
It won't affect it at all as long as you pay the early termination fee. Now if you're suggesting terminating and not paying the fee, then it would probably eventually result in a collection account on your credit which would not be good.
Tried to do it with upgrade and i get "This device is not available in your area" Interesting. I have a Note now and wanted to upgrade to the Note II. Says Im eligible for full upgrade discount in November and a partial discount right now. Might be part of the problem getting this to work as the upgrade price for the refurb matches new, $599!
