That includes the Office 2013 license, all the updates to Office for the next four years, plus the cloud stuff INCLUDING the 20GB of extra SkyDrive storage. You do NOT receive CD Keys, your subscription is tied to your email address. That means you can install it on multiple computers. There's even a "temporary" streaming install that you can use on a loaner computer that uninstalls when your done, as well as just being able to work in the web pages like Google Docs (but better) Once the subscription expires, Office will go into "Read Only" mode. If your documents in SkyDrive total more than your purchased space, SkyDrive goes into "Read Only" mode until you're below your space limit. |

Box offer 25GB but its software is shitty. I had a free business version that had 50GB free, but got rid of it after a month or so. Plus, no one is forcing you to use their product. They don't have to give your jack-sh!t for free. I hate it when people complain about FREE STUFF. |

My alumni email address from UCI worked, not sure if that was intended or not (I was never able to get the other Office student deals that required .edu address).
Does anyone know if that $80 for 4 years deal works with alumni emails too? |

Enjoy your 7GB from MS. I don't even care.

Keeping in mind that this is aimed towards students, there is a LOT here that DropBox doesn't offer, and a good bit that Google Docs doesn't offer as well. You might want to follow the links, and do a little research on exactly what Office365 is about. |

I'm assuming it's all paid for and legal. If it's not, this $80 deal is a good way to get legal for the next 4 years. It's a reasonable and fair price. |

[[(QUOTE=Zanthexter;58160368]There is no practical reason to use Office 2010 over 2013. )[/QUOTE]
I find there is no practical reason to pay for upgrades for products that are not a significant improvement that also meet my needs and requirements. I'm not saying that Office 365 or 2013 is not worth ugrading to but typically (especially with MS) Software companies tend to want to sell useless upgrades when their old product is perfectly fine. Win8 vs Win7 is a pefect example. Last edited by renegade44e; 03-12-2013 at 09:41 PM.. |

I have a few questions about this if anyone can help.
I have the x64 2013 preview installed which expires on the 24th. Will this just extend my trial (as it were)? Also, does the 6 months start when I submit my .edu email or when I activate my copy? Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar
