. but using this inside the camera is more important, but after much reading this deal and the run of the mill class 10 does the same crap inside the camera. but the benefit if you do get this.. Once paired with a usb3 reader AkumaX certified. speeds will increase. I really wish cameras took advantage of the newer memory and speed increase.
Saved a buck or two? Thank the OP by repping if you like the post or was helped out You can always Thumb up the deal and rep those that helped you. Found a sour deal or bad deal Click on the Thumbs Down. What would my life and wallet be without slickdeals?

![]() ![]() ![]() Haha! But anyway, USB 3.0 ports are useless unless you have a USB 3.0 card reader. USB 3.0 ports will always go into USB 2.0 backwards compatibility mode. However, a USB 3.0 reader in a USB 2.0 port will actually have a performance increase, because there is a natural bottleneck of around 20MB/s read and write for USB 2.0 card readers. So it looks like this (for example, this Sony 94MB/s UHS-I in my tests): USB 2.0 Reader + USB 2.0 Port = 20MB read / 20MB write USB 2.0 Reader + USB 3.0 Port = 20MB read / 20MB write USB 3.0 Reader + USB 2.0 Port = 36MB read / 31MB write USB 3.0 Reader + USB 3.0 Port = 80MB read / 45MB write Those are my results. YMMV. Anyone else who happen to have this card (or any fast card like the SanDisk Extreme 45MB/s or even the other Sony 40MB/s UHS), your input is valuable! I can't be the only one!

"I was unable to find reliable information regarding what protocols and bus speeds the T3i supports so I called Canon. I was told that the camera supports the UHS-1 protocol at the 100mhz bus speed and 50MB/s write throughput." |

The 32 info posted at the site says "discontinued".
*note- as of 6:45PM PST, I have not received any cancellation on either my 32 order or 16 order. I ordered about 10 minutes after this thread was posted. If something is discontinued - and it is a later model, rings some alarm bells! Last edited by dondeal80; 03-11-2013 at 06:47 PM.. Reason: Not cancelled, yet. |
