Nook tablet 16gb $66 AC Cowboom

The only problem I had experienced with the Original Nook Color is the proprietary charger. Nothing else. Fast machine and worked well.
I see this is the Nook Tablet, should be better.

Thanks. I knew of both, but haven't tried them and couldn't speak to the stability. So, no problems for you with 10.1?

It actually uses the same charger which wouldn't be so bad if they weren't known to break easily.

That suxor. I sold the nook color after about 5 months and the proprietary charger was the only gripe I had about it. Warned the buyer about it too.

How does thing compare to the samsung tab2 or current non h/d kindle fire? I'm mainly looking to play some games.
I spent $175 for the samsung and returned it after thinking the money was not well spent.

So far no problems with basic stuff. Haven't tried playing games yet.

Trying to make a sdcard for android but maybe I'm just a noob but the instructions from http://iamafanof.wordpress.com/20...blet-0218/
are not as self explanatory. Is there a vid somewhere? Do I just copy the "SDCARD ROM:" and viola?

Great deal if you can get a grade 6. I got my dad one for Christmas, put cm10 on a sd card and he loves it. The previous posts about using a Sandisk class 4 card are correct, I tried using an extra Kingston class 4 that I had and the thing was slow and laggy. With the Sandisk, this thing ran run circles around our aging iPad 1. I'm tempted to pick one up for myself.

You need to create an image on the sd card. A simple copy and paste will not work. Google is your friend.

What's the deal with the charger, anyway? I'm assuming it's just a higher amp charger, but it still plugs into the USB cable, yes? So any USB cable will eventually charge, though a 2amp or more is better, maybe? Or is there another type of port for charger?
