I got a lifetime supply of body wash, shaving cream and face wash. USED IT AT TARGET. They had double packs of body wash and face wash on clearance for 4 dollarss. Minus coupons came out 1 dollar per item.
No wireless printer supported.. & requires java to print
Works fine printing over WiFi to my Brother 8890DW.
If you're having an issue, it's something specific to your setup.
Is it safe to install this, print the coupons and then uninstall?
Yes, SmartSource is a reputable company.
It requires Java, which any security expert will tell you is pure folly to install on your machine. Anecdotal evidence aside, Java is bad news. It's rarely updated, contains holes a hacker can drive a truck through, and is fortunately becoming obsolete.
I'm not saying not to print these, and I'm glad it's worked for you, but having Java installed on your machine is a bad idea, long-term. Too many exploits.
The following is a link to a security warning from the U.S. Government to not use the browser plugin.
Heh, I wish it rarely got updated. With all the updates days apart over the last two months, it made a LOT of extra work for me pushing it out to all the computers I manage. (Some business critical stuff requires it, so it remains installed and regularly updated.)
As for the rest...you know that you can simply leave it installed, but disabled, and then enable it on an as needed basis? Turn the browser plugin off when not needed, on when it is?
Or just leave it enabled in one web browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc.) that you only use for safe and trusted sites that need it?
Oh, and as a point to make here, Java, and Adobe as well, have been the main source of hacks for years. It's why I laugh at Mac users that think being on a Mac somehow protects them...it doesn't. Same Java, same Adobe, same problems.
In the end coupons are just worth WAY to much money to not use them. More than enough in fact to pick up some old netbooks on Craig's List and just use them to print coupons.
If you want a work around go get a Virutal machine and then install any OS and then you can be safe from any "virus" ur scared of.
or u can run the programs in a program called sandboxie
But anight nobody got time for all that...
Well, given that couponing regularly can easily add up to hundreds of dollars a month in savings for a family, quite a few people find it worth their time.
Coupons are better than cash, since dollar for dollar, they're "worth more".
You earn $1, you pay sales taxes on it, and net, I dunno, $.80.
You clip a $1 coupon, in many states you don't even pay tax on it, so it's worth, I dunno, $1.08.
Isnt there a coupon thread for a reason?
Yep. It's bait to lure out the self righteous.

Oh, it looked like a good idea, but never dealing again with WG in New Orleans!!
Both places I tried did not know that you can use two coupons on two items, even when BOGO.
And all the stuff was at leas $1 more each. Total time spend on this 4 hours! (that includes installing printer drivers, java, driving, arguing, etc.)
On 3/18 I went to Target and didn't get the Body Washes since they were marked at $3.99 each. So I only got face care items combining both manufacturer and Target coupons.
Face Scrub = $1.21
Post Shave Balm = $1.86
Then I stopped by Walgreens and they had on sale body washes for $2.39 each for the Citrus kind. This is YMMV since the 2 for 1 sale is not there anymore. I believe there was a tag there saying that the sale would end until April something.
