yup, doesnt seem worth it. There have been lots of lenovos I would rather buy for $400 than this old thing.
-Only an 80gb HDD -Only 32bit OS -No wireless N -Prob first gen i5 -just seems like an old brick |

Dell says it is 802.11n http://www.dell.com/us/business/p...aryContent.
I guess if you are looking for a Dell candidate to put a SSD drive in this might be it. |

2600 MHz = 2.6 GHz which means that the only Intel i5 mobile processor running at this frequency was the i5-2540M. An oldie but a goodie, however the rest of the specs are slight. One would need to upgrade HDD, RAM,and find a 64-bit version of Windows to really get anything out of this and then might as well just buy a new laptop if it needed all of that. Honestly not worth it for that price tag.

The description of this computer on BUY.com on the otherhand only states that it has ABG wireless capabilities. N seems like something they would advertise for something this. I wouldn't count on it having wireless N. Your page also states that it could have a 9 cell battery... |

The other MAJOR concern is that is is NOT a Vendor Refurb.
Buying a Refurb from Dell.Outlet.Com is a very different than buying what is really just a USED Dell. |

The only pro is Latitude - very solid piece of aluminum. The rest are cons. The processor, most likely, is I5-480M/560M/580M. These processors are so-so. If you buy this item, you have to spend about $300 to make it a more or less satisfactory laptop. Plus unknown resolution,
