wow! It takes 800 workers to put together a shitty coupon book? I had one last year and barely found 4 or 5 coupons worth using. They more or less paid for the book.. which isn't exactly a deal. I do feel bad for all the workers that have been laid off in masses in that town. That's a big hit for their local economy.

They put together over 100 "shitty coupon books," negotiating with merchants in small & large communities across the country.

Yes, the Internet eroded the value of the Entertainment Book, with direct-to-consumer marketing & websites like Groupon. But many of the coupons in the Entertainment Book aren't replicated, readily available or cost-effective on the Internet - for example, the discount on American Airlines tickets, 50% off pizza coupons, 50% off / BOGO coupons at local restaurants, etc. And with the books costing less than $10 after cash back beginning every January, they're a lot cheaper than sources like Groupon. And the discounts in the Honolulu book were significantly better than you could find elsewhere.

Each Entertainment Book easily saved us over $100. It'll be missed.
