Staples Corvair Luxura Task Chair $30 with Reserve & Pickup

Assembled today and start using it at work. So far liking it. Good upgrade (replaced a 10 year old chair).

What's the situation with the 10$ coupon being emailed? I received an email stating I'd receive it but still nothing so far

The strange thing is that I just got a Reservation Expiration Notice as if I never received an Unable To Fulfill email with the promise of the $10 coupon.

This leads me to believe that you should disregard any Unable To Fulfill notices issued by Staples and still go to your local store for pick up as there's a good chance your item is still being reserved.

To answer your question; I don't think I will be getting the $10 coupon now as the reservation expired on its own according to my local Staples.

Got a call from my local Staples manager and he said they would not honor the pick up as that came straight from corporate not to do it. Got the $10 email today.

Have you tried using the $60 off Corvair Chairs coupon? If your local store is still selling them for $90 perhaps you still can get the $30 deal via the coupon.

I suspect that Staples wanted to sell these chair for $30 via the coupon as a clearance due to them not selling (IE VERY uncomfortable).

IMO The reason why corporate canceled the $30 reservations is that they were worried some savvy people would use the $60 coupon to get the chair for free. Perhaps my tin foil hat is not working right today though
