i am not familiar with this vendor personally but i own this lens and purchased used and it was selling for more than this price. the only way you'll get this cheaper is MAYBE on ebay or in-person which can be sketchy...
I strongly recommend this lens at this price.
i use this on my DX some people have complaints about shooting wide open losing sharpness (slightly) on the edges but this is non-existent on a crop sensor and also gives a nice 450mm focal equiv to 35mm sensors... at 340 bucks, that's hard to beat! VR is a lifesaver, though you want to disable for long exposures and such. you can really notice through your viewfinder when the stabilization kicks in. shooting handheld @300mm/450mm with is no problem.
if you're looking for a tele-photo/supertelephoto on crop, this is the one!
