Trying to decide between a HE top loader or front loader
This model seems to get great reviews from most of the sites I have looked on.

Available at Lowe's too.

I would imagine if Lowe's price matches and gives their 10% off.....you cant also use the 10% movers coupon ??

Anyone know ?

The big plus for me in front loaders are they are SUPPOSED to be quieter than top loaders.

Course, the drawback is that they build up a smell if you don't leave the door open ???

My Montgomery Wards Signature 2000 series washer is finally giving up the ghost.
Got it as a wedding gift.....in 1991 !

22 years, it still works, but now it is starting to walk across the floor when it's spinning.

Yep I have been using a front loader and they do get funky if the door is closed. I run a bleach cycle through it every month or so. Seems like a serious design flaw. My next purchase will be the old fashioned top loader.

go with the top loader unless you like bending over all the time to
take clothes in and out. also the seal leaks after a few years not
to mention the smell. and you don't want to leave the door open
if you have kids or animals.

You can simply kneel down to remove the clothes. It is probably more stressful to your back with the top loader.

Exact same model at Lowes. Someone mentioned earlier to try and price match for 10% lower which I am going to try to bring price down to $611.96.

Been on the lookout for a steam dryer and seeing as how it's nowhere near Black Friday the deals seem few and far between. Best Buy currently has a Samsung 7.3 Cu. Ft. 9 cycle electric steam dryer for $674.99 with free shipping. Normal price is $999. Seems decent, feel free to correct me though!

Just tried this at my local store. Sadly, it was a fight just to get them to match the price, much less beat it. Would not honor 10% off coupons or the 5% Lowe's credit card offer either. Salesman said it was because it was below cost, not in stock, and had to be ordered.

bought this model, the washer, on black friday on bestbuy.com for $599. Have had no issues with it and the steam function works well.
