Slow cookers are great. One of the nicest things about slwo cookers is that youc an leave food in them and not worry about metal leaching.
After seven years of SD, I've come to conclude that Slickdealers are protein-powder guzzling, pistol packing, cheap-ass video game nerds.

I bought this around BF. It's really a solid no-name appliance. Used it twice for pulled pork and wasn't disappointed.

Thanks. N 4 1. Got the last one at our HD and it was the display. Mine cracked last week due to my not waiting for it to cool to clean it. Good timing on this one.

Order was cancelled... Very disappointed after getting hopes up and having had the opportunity to order from multiple stores. Now all stores nearby out of stock.

Analog ones are better
The problem with digital slow cookers is if the power goes out for a few minutes then when you get home it will be flashing not not cooking,and you will have to throw away the food, while a analog one will start cooking again when the power comes back on so a few minutes will not hurt anything.
