Okay, maybe not 100% accurate. Increasing the diagonal by 5" will affect both the width and height, so this should be a close estimate to surface area increase.

think about the math:

Diagonal squared (D*D) = Length squared (L*L) plus Height squared (H*H)
Since all tvs are the same form factor, length and height are related: L = 16/9*H
D*D = H*H*(256/81+1)
D and H are also linearly related: D=H*SQRT(4.16)

so he was not giving correct values for the areas of the television, he still divided consistent terms, so the increases in surface area that he listed (19% increase for 55 to 60" and 40% increase for 55 to 65) are correct.

Also confirmed using the following:
55" TV dimensions (based on 16:9 ratiuo) 29.26"x52.01"=1521.81" surface area
60" TV dimensions (based on 16:9 ratiuo) 31.92"x56.74"=1811.14" surface area
1811.14/1521.81=1.19012 - or 19" more surface area

I bought the 55 inch, 7500 couple of weeks ago from Amazon. $1500 and they were also offering Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7inch. So far I love it. Picture quality is super goooooooooood.

Got the 55"es 6100 for 1097 6 months ago.

Just looked at the specs on the amazon page and noticed the 6100 shows not wireless keyboard capable(No check mark in box) ? I've got a K400 on it and it's working fine.
