LOVE the paper magazine AND the iPad app (which comes free with a print subscription). Absolutely fantastic content, and worth the $23.
Aside from a free 2-year stint via DansDeals, I just get it for $2 through MM or FreeBiz.

As far as looking at magazines going under vs. switching to digital-only, most of the big boys will go digital-only. And if you have to pay to get to that content (see: Newsweek), you're already pre-paid.

If anyone goes out of print, they'll fight harder to keep current subscribers than try to convince others (who haven't been interested enough to subscribe).

I'm surprised Newsweek (or a forthcoming imprint to go online-only) didn't have something like, "Send us receipts that you've purchased our final three issues and we'll give you a free year of a digital-only subscription." Time is selling $15/year, so it' not like they'd be losing a lot when (not if) they go through the same transition.

I think Tanga just had one within the previous 7-10 days. And they don't auto-renew

They have another big magazine sale right now - 18 titles thru Sunday:

Yeah, somehow I just started getting Businessweek. I didn't even pay for it. Just completely free, and it's been coming for over 2 years now.

The slickest deal is the one that presents itself to you with no effort whatsoever.

I too did the same. My current subscription is valid till 2016. Got it for $30.

Renewed it for 3 more years. $23 is hard to miss.

Hope to see the renewal processed in 4-6 weeks by looking at the end date of subscription.
Did anyone who renewed BBW during this offer see their subscription extended?

Mine still shows 2016. Expecting it to go to 2019.

Has anyone that got a new subscription through this started receiving their magazines yet? It's been over 3 months and I have not ... sent a support email to discountmag today.
