I was just looking this up on Ratuken yesterday since I was in the market for a WiDi adapter. Will be ready and waiting. Thanks. Smilie

Good deal, op. I'm holding out for the PTV3000, though, so I'll keep waiting.

Can someone explain if this is good buy compared to neoTV which provides same functionality with Roku like abilities. Also does PTV3000 is $30 better over this because of miracast support ?

The big question is windows 8 compatible, I have the neotv max ntv300sl and it isn't win 8 compatible and still no firmware update to make it, sucks

PTV3000 seems to be very buggy right now regarding WiDi, even with the latest 2.2.9. Miracast support is available with the PTV2000 using the latest firmware.

You have to download the latest Intel Wireless Display software and then launch it. Once you connect to the PTV2000, it'll ask if you want to update the firmware to the device. Once you do, it should enable miracast. Unsure if it's unofficially supported or not but I was able to see the PTV2000 devices on my Nexus 4 after the update.

Note that you'll need at least an Intel 1st gen core based notebook and Intel based WiFi card to do the initial firmware upgrade.

Braxus: After getting a Nexus 10, I pulled my PTV2000 out of the closet. It still connects with a Toshiba Satellite showing "2.1.16.0 Firmware is up to date" But it doesn't show as an available wireless display on the Nexus 10. Is there a later firmware, it appears that netgear.com isn't supporting the PTV2000 anymore. Any thoughts? Thanks
